“The B.O.B – Z.1.0.3 drone has three upgrade slots, I have designed 20 chips to boost some of its functionalities. These wonderful pieces of technology don’t need energy to work but only three of them can be equiped at the same time. Some are only efficient if the corresponding equipment is mounted.

I’ll quickly describe six of them:

Secondary reactor : it gives a boost to the drone top speed.

Shoot speed : the plasma turret has a better firing frequency.

Energy magnet : the energy sparks are attracted toward the drone.

Mirror Shield : it allows the energy shield to reflect enemy bullets. I have to admit that I’ve taken into consideration an advice from one of your kind for this one. (Only efficient if the energy shield equipment is mounted)

Energy saver : the mounted equipments require less energy to be activated.

Cooldown accelerator : This upgrade is useful if the drone is mounted with equipment using cooldown system, they will be available quicker.

“Hi there, I’ve worked so much these days… The basic functions of the B.O.B – Z.1.0.3 are perfectly working, but it will not be enough to prevent from all the hazards of the Hexodius station. I can’t know precisely what this freaking crazy AI is preparing.

The drone will be able to carry new functionalities, I cannot install them right now because of the lack of ressources in my temporary lab but I’ve already worked on the plans. Four of them can be equiped at the same time but they will need energy to be activated. Let me present to you some of these equipments :

Energy shield : It creates a strong energy field around the drone, it will stop all physical and plasma attacks. However it may be inefficient against special energy fields or lasers.

Holo-turret : This device summons an energy turret, it will shoot at enemies entering its attack range.

Nitro : It gives a serious boost of speed, perfect to dodge enemy attacks.

Proximity mine : Ok, it may not sound original, but this vintage equipment is very useful to set traps to mindless toasters.

Time Paradox : I have to admit that I’m pretty proud about this one, this nasty piece of equipment slows down the time around the drone during a few seconds. Thinking of it, maybe I should check if the use of this device can have some side effects…

I have to go back to work, I’ve planned to design about twenty unique equipments. Ha, and I will talk about upragde chips in another transmission.”
